What I did Over Spring Break

A Little Dynasty Chinese Essay, Level 7

This year’s Spring Break was my favorite! On Spring Break, I did many things near my home in Southern California.

First, I celebrated my cousin Elliott’s three month birthday. My grandparents, uncle, and my family went to a Chinese restaurant for a special lunch buffet. I ate so many strawberries and French fries. I felt special because it was fancy. After I finished my lunch I got to play with my 2yo cousin Evan on the balcony.

Next, I spent one day with my cousin Mari. We watched the movie “How to Train your Dragon“ in a huge shopping mall movie theater near her house in Culver City. After the movie, we played at a playground at the mall and ate fried chicken.

Last, my family and I went to the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles. I saw a big Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton and we watch a movie in 3D about the ocean. There was also a Butterfly Pavilion where we could get close to many different kinds of live butterflies.

As you can see, I had a lot of fun adventures on my Spring Break. Now I am ready for summer!

我們看了一個電影叫“How to Train Your Dragon 3″。
