My Favorite Subject

I like everything about school, but I have one favorite subject!

在學校我什麼都喜歡， 可是我有一堂課我最喜歡！

Zài xuéxiào wǒ shénme dōu xǐhuān, kěshì wǒ yǒu yītáng kè wǒ zuì xǐhuān!

My favorite subject at school is science and I like it for many reasons.

我最喜歡的課是科學， 因為有很多原因。

Wǒ zuì xǐhuān de kè shì kēxué, yīnwèi yǒu hěnduō yuányīn.

First, there are many areas of science to learn.

首先，科學有很多種類。

Shǒuxiān, kēxué yǒu hěnduō zhǒnglèi.

This year my teacher has taught us about worms, water, rocks, plants, and soil.

今年我的老師教我們蟲子，水， 石頭，草木 ， 土壤。

Jīnnián wǒ de lǎoshī jiào wǒmen chóngzi, shuǐ, shítou, cǎomù, tǔrǎng.

Secondly, I like doing science experiments.

其次，我也喜歡做科學實驗。

Qícì, wǒ yě xǐhuān zuò kēxué shíyàn.

At school this week I am doing an experiment growing a plant without soil.

這個禮拜我在學校做實驗不用土壤長植物。

Zhège lǐbài wǒ zài xuéxiào zuò shíyàn bǔyòng tǔrǎng zhǎng zhíwù.

Finally, I get to watch a lot of videos to learn about science.

最後，我也看了很多學習科學的電影。

Zuìhòu, wǒ yě kànle hěnduō xuéxí kēxué de diànyǐng.

My teacher shows us a website called “Mystery Science” where they do experiments to answer questions about science.

我的老師給我們看一個網站叫“神秘科學”，在裡面，他們做實驗來解答科學的問題。

Wǒ de lǎoshī gěi wǒmen kàn yīgè wǎngzhàn jiào “Shénmì kēxué”. 
Zài lǐmiàn, tāmen zuò shíyàn lái jiědá kēxué de wèntí.

As you can see, for many reasons science is my favorite thing to study at school.

Nǐ kěyǐ liǎojiě, kēxué shì wǒ zuì xǐhuān de kè de xǔduō yuányīn.
